About the event
On the eve of Samhain, we gather beneath darkening skies, and call the ancestors to sit with us around the flames. This is a circle of bone memory, ancestral listening. We honour the Cailleach, She who brings the winter, and draw inspiration from the folklore of La Loba, She who sings over bones.
Our journey of descent has reached its end. We have arrived at Samhain. The thinning of the veil between worlds. The doorway is open to annwn, the Otherworld. We will be working with the medicine of the Cailleach. We turn to her to guide us through the darkening months.
What to expect:
Our evening begins with a shared walk down the hill together to greet the land and sense the ‘descent’ in our bodies.
This is an invitation to tune in to the landscape and the changing skies as the sun begins to set.
